“My wife had just delivered our second child, and we were on cloud nine until tragedy hit us one day,” Raju sobs as he carefully caresses his wife, Kapila's head.
Kapila is only 21 years old and is already standing at the gates of death.
It all began with a fatal mishap.
One day, while taking medications with water, Kapila accidentally had a bottle of acid. In an instant, the acid caused her throat to burn, leaving her gasping for breath.
Later, doctors found that Kapila had sustained severe damage to her food pipe, making it impossible for her to eat. She had also developed a deadly lung infection along with the inability to speak.
Upon understanding the tragedy, Raju did everything to help his poor wife but in vain. He moved cities and changed hospitals, trying to ensure she received proper treatment.
A hospital in Delhi can treat Kapila and help her recover completely, but the surgery and ICU stay will cost Rs INR 21,70,850.00.
Before the accident, Kapila was the happiest, as she had just become a mother for the second time.
Now, as she is unable to express her discomfort verbally, she keeps crying out in agony. She can't eat a single morsel of food. The family has had to undergo a great deal of difficulties just to get Kapila to Delhi from their small town in Madhya Pradesh.
Since Raju has to be with his wife, he had to let go of his data entry job, which hardly earned him anything. In these dark times, he now turns to you for help.
He has already spent a huge amount of money on their relocation for a better treatment. He has no alternatives left now.
Any kindness from you can shine like a ray of hope through Kapila's life. Help restore the smiles on this disdained couple's faces. You are their only hope now.
The specifics of this case have been verified by the medical team at the concerned hospital. For any clarification on the treatment or associated costs, contact the campaign organizer or the medical team.
