Fundraiser Ended! This fundraiser ended on June 30, 2021
Sagar's last word to his friend, Mahesh Badhe "I have lost hope to recover, my body is giving up and I don't know whether I'll come back home or not. Dad has left a deep scar on me, I couldn't see him dying in my arms. Mahesh, please save my family from dying due to debt, take care of them".
With profound grief, we announce the untimely passing away of our young friend Sagar Salunke (aged -25), a full time lounge musician and the sole bread earner of his family.
This fundraiser is to support Sagar Salunke's family (survived by old mother, 21 year old wife, younger brother, two unmarried sisters, grandfather and grandmother)
Sagar was diagnosed with COVID19 and was recovering well. However, his situation deteriorated suddenly with multiple cardiac arrests. He fought valiantly but sadly we lost Sagar on May 13th 2021. Two weeks earlier, Sagar had also tragically lost his father due to complications developed through COVID19 and Sagar had got this deadly virus at that time transmitted through his father while taking care of him in the hospital.
Sagar was a full time lounge musician in Pune and already had not performed since long (March 2020) due to the lockdown and closure of all lounges in Pune.
In the final days of his life when he was on the ventilator, he was completely depressed due to the debt he had of his housing loan and the debt which he has incurred in the recovery of his father.
The money lenders were calling him everytime.
I request everyone to find heart in supporting his family with your prayers and donations to take care of all the expenses and plan for the future.
Thank you in advance for your kind heart.
