Ketto has waived off its fee to ensure that every single rupee reaches the people who need it the most.
India is currently battling a dangerous second wave with close to 17 million confirmed cases, more than 2.8 million active cases and a death toll of 1,95,116 so far.
On April 22, 2021, India recorded the world's biggest surge in cases and 2,000+ deaths in a day.
This surge has led to overcrowded hospitals & a severe shortage of oxygen. Patients are dying and doctors are struggling to save them.
In the midst of this crisis, Shahnawaz Shaikh, a familiar hero from 2020 has stepped up yet again.

In a tragic incident, Shahnawaz saw his business partner’s pregnant sister lose her life because no hospital was willing to admit her.
“Five hospitals rejected her and she died outside the sixth hospital. She and her unborn baby’s life could’ve been saved had she received oxygen on time. It broke my heart,” says Shahnawaz.
Realizing the crucial importance of oxygen, Shahnawaz decided to sell his prized SUV to buy oxygen cylinders and distribute them for free to help the needy during this global crisis.
"It wasn't hard to give up my car knowing that the money would go into saving people's lives. If I'm lucky enough to get blessings from a family that I may have helped, I'll be able to buy four more such cars someday," said Shahnawaz.

Unfortunately, India is battling a second wave and it appears the worst is yet to come. Too many families are losing loved ones because our medical infrastructure is crumbling and there is a dire shortage of oxygen.
Shahnawaz has continued to do the hard but necessary work of providing oxygen to patients in need.
He has helped 500+ families care for their loved ones, with free oxygen.
In cases where the entire families are quarantined, the volunteers deliver the cylinders themselves, wearing protective gear.
Shahnawaz, along with Dr Sabauddin Shaikh of Care Hospital, have set up a system to provide families with adequate training before they start using an oxygen cylinder.
At such a time, it’s crucial to support Good Samaritans like Shahnawaz who is doing his best, in dangerous circumstances to save the lives of patients.
Your donations will enable Shahnawaz to continue his noble mission & save the lives of many patients and their families.
Every bit counts during this time of crisis.
It’s more important than ever that we step up to help, in any way that we can. Let’s start by supporting heroes like Shahnawaz.
