About the Organisation

At the Foundation for Mother and Child Health India we focus on encouraging Preventive Health and Balanced Nutrition practices in economically underprivileged communities in India. To achieve this, we adopt a Holistic approach, embracing both the children and their social environment, by building Intervention Programs for children from the moment they are conceived until 6 years, and we influence their care givers and social environment by providing education on the right choices regarding nutrition and preventive health. 
The Foundation for Mother and Child Health India is an affiliate of the FMCH Family, and with our sister organizations, we work hard to educate mothers and children around the world about health and nutrition.

Organisation Activities

Health Clinics, Nutrition Counseling, Cooking Classes/Demos, Mother-Child Bonding classes, Awareness Activities, Vaccination Camps, Supplemental Nutrition Programs

Beneficiary Groups

Pregnant and lactating mothers, and children ages 0-6. (Other severely malnourished children and mothers are taken under our care if their symptoms are urgent or severe.)
