Happy Diwali to all of you! I hope this year's festive season brings a great deal of light and happiness into each of your lives. However, before you dash away to light your dias and eat your mithai, I would like to take just a minute of your time. There are over 400 million children do not go to school and so will never learn the basic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic that you and I take for granted. They will never have the opportunities we have had; they will never have a chance to be the best that they can be. So as we shop for presents and sweets, let's spend a little of our earnings on this noble cause through contributions to Akshara NGO which helps to educate and empower children across India. We need your support!

Project Information - Empowering Dreams Project

Every girl from a low socio-economic background struggles through multiple obstacles for completing graduation. Lack of financial support, parental support and exposure reduces their chances to have an education as a backup plan for life’s crisis. We want to change this. No girl with a dream for higher education should be forced to give up and we will do everything to overcome hurdles. Financial Scholarship is combined with intense personality development, job skill enhancement and life skill inputs to ensure that every girl who passes through 3 years is able to expand her horizon personally, professionally and contributes to change at society level.
