Ketto will also strive to ensure that the NGO’s utilize the donation for the purpose specified, where such purpose has been specified as a donation option on the website. Ketto will also strive to ensure that the NGO’s send tax exemption certificates and feedback reports, if applicable, to the donors within reasonable time limits. Ketto shall exert reasonable influence at its command, including withdrawal of non-compliant NGO’s from the site, if, in its sole discretion, the situation merits such action. However, visitors to the site acknowledge that Ketto is purely a "facilitator" for transactions between the NGO’s and visitors, and as such, stands indemnified by donors on this site from any liabilities arising out of any kind of non-compliance by the NGO’s.
The site provides display, description or references to NGO’s. However, this is not to be construed as an endorsement by Ketto of any such NGO and Ketto expressly disclaims any liability for any damages, loss or expenses incurred as a result of any action, omission or responsibility assumed based on the information provided by the NGO’s listed on Ketto. Some contents on the site belong to third parties including the NGO’s. Such contents have been reproduced after taking prior permission from the said third parties and NGO’s and the copyright of such contents would remain exclusively with the said third party. Ketto does not assume any responsibility for any mistakes which might appear in such contents. The copyright of the material contained in this site belongs to and remains solely with Ketto. Access to the site by visitors does not imply a license to modify copy, reproduce, post and or distribute this information including text; graphics, code and or software and the visitors or donors are not allowed to any such act without the prior approval of Ketto.
Where visitors are required to divulge any personal information on the site, Ketto shall take reasonable steps to maintain the confidentiality of such information. For donors, who are part of a regular giving programme (payroll giving or monthly giving) through their organizations, their information may be shared with official representatives of the organization for specific campaign purposes.
Information that will typically be shared will be related to login id and balance in your giving account. No information related to your personal donations will be shared and no donations will be made on your behalf without your explicit consent. Ketto may also engage third parties from time to time to drive campaigns on its behalf and may need to share information with them to conduct the campaign effectively. In all such cases also, Ketto will ensure complete confidentiality of information through reasonable means (e.g. signing of a non-disclosure agreement with third party etc.) Ketto will never provide your details to other parties for their campaigns nor conduct any campaigns on behalf of any third party save and except where the information is required to be disclosed under the applicable law the site contains links to other sites operated by third parties including NGO’s. Ketto does not assume responsibility for the privacy practices or policies of the sites operated by such third parties or NGO’s.
